This month, we’re proud to recognize Sarah Lydon, Director of Marketing, who has been an important part of the UltraComfort team for 13 years.
Throughout her career with UltraComfort, Sarah has become known for her hard work, leadership, and dedication to moving the brand forward. Whether she’s collaborating with our retailer partners, sales representatives, and vendors or helping bring a new campaign to life, Sarah wears many hats — always with a focus on strengthening the UltraComfort brand and helping more people discover products designed to support comfort, wellness, and independence.

Sarah’s commitment to UltraComfort has been evident throughout her 13 years with the company.
In 2023, she received the prestigious President’s Award, an honor recognizing individuals within the company who consistently go above and beyond the call of duty and show up each day in support of UltraComfort’s mission and vision.
As Director of Marketing, Sarah helps lead the strategy behind how UltraComfort connects with consumers and supports its network of retailers and sales representatives. She places tremendous value on those partnerships, understanding that strong relationships and effective marketing go hand in hand when it comes to helping retailers succeed and connecting consumers with the right chair for their needs.
Under Sarah’s marketing leadership, UltraComfort has continued to strengthen its presence within the home furnishings industry. The company has been named Best Lift Chair Company in Furniture Today’s Reader Rankings for two consecutive years and was recently nominated for a third year, along with nominations in four additional categories.
But Sarah and the UltraComfort team are always looking ahead.
One of the latest initiatives Sarah and her team are developing is Feel Better Every Day, a campaign centered on a simple but important idea: the chair you choose for your home can play a meaningful role in how you feel every day.
That message will come to life through the upcoming UltraComfort Wellness Studio, an immersive retail experience designed to help consumers discover how choosing the right chair can support everyday comfort, positioning, relaxation, and overall wellness.
For our retailer partners, the Wellness Studio will provide a new way to educate customers, demonstrate the benefits of UltraComfort products, and create a more engaging experience on the showroom floor. Rather than focusing solely on the traditional idea of a power lift recliner, the program will help retailers have a broader conversation about how the right seating can complement a customer’s lifestyle and everyday wellness.
For consumers, it means gaining a better understanding of how features such as positioning, support, comfort, and power adjustability can help them find a chair that fits their individual needs — and ultimately helps them feel better at home.
With Sarah’s leadership and passion for marketing, UltraComfort continues to find new ways to tell that story, strengthen our partnerships, and connect more people with products that can make a meaningful difference in their daily lives.
